Descripción

Es una canastilla de retención de gruesos que se instala transversal y perpendicular a la corriente líquida de la que se desea retener los sólidos. Los cuáles son elevados a través de los rieles del equipo a la superficie (nivel del operador) para su fácil remoción. Normalmente se instala cuando se desea una eliminación de sólidos muy gruesa, como protección de equipos de bombeo que trabaja en esa misma corriente o en canales de bypass (paralelos a otros en los que se han instalado sistemas de filtrado más eficaces). Debido a su construcción de acero inoxidable, tiene alta resistencia a la corrosión y erosión, y puede funcionar por muchos años con un mantenimiento mínimo. El acero inoxidable ofrece flexibilidad de diseño prácticamente ilimitado.
